The Dreamscape rebranding is almost complete with a new and fresh corporate image, customized font and brand guidelines. We will be launching our new brand and website in the next couple of weeks, but have decided to launch a (sneak preview) beta release of our brand new mobile site early. The key to a successful mobile site is to make things simple and easy to navigate in order to find the key sections. The behaviour of mobile Internet users is very different to desktop / laptop users due to time constraints, multitasking, and small screen “real estate”. Mobile users don’t want to fiddle around with small menu items and excessive scrolling to find information, they just want to click and go. The way to achieve this is to select the key areas of your site in order of priority and create a navigation system that will allow even the most “fat-fingered” of us to find out way around the site. The key sections in our site are our portfolio, services, contact page and blog. These sections will allow the user to see our latest work, read about our services and get in touch. The contact page also allows the user to call or email with 1 click, and locate our offices via Google maps and / or their own device map software.
