As part of our continued dedication to developing our staff, our lead graphic designer Ella Dunne has recently undertaken a user analysis course. The great news is that she has passed the course and is now ready to progress further in to the subject of user interface design!

The benefits of gaining this qualification are multiple in terms of streamlining and improving the web design process. Before we even begin to create a design for your website, we create a user analysis report. This report gathers information about your broad user segments and then, specific user groups and roles in order for us to correctly recognize the demographic of your website. It is vital to make these realizations at the start of the projects to ensure that the very best result is achieved and that the website does what you want it to do! We determine a hierarchy of users and ensure that the website is designed to cater for the most frequent and important users, whilst also not neglecting any other user types.
By adding this element to our design process we are ensuring that you are provided with the optimum solution for you web design project. Usability and functionality are equally as important as the design of the site and in fact ARE a part of the design of the site.

On to the next course now, user interface design! This will enable us to heighten the quality and user friendliness of our designs even further by creating interfaces that are very easy for people of all ages and IT and educational backgrounds to navigate.
