TERMS & CONDITIONS
Domain Name Registration and Website Hosting
The following terms and conditions apply to all domain name and website hosting services offered by Dreamscape Design. By ordering any of these services from Dreamscape Design you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
- Customers are prohibited from transmitting on or through any of Dreamscape Design's services, any material that is, in Dreamscape Design's sole discretion, unlawful, threatening, abusive, libellous, or encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any local, state, national or international law, statute or regulation. The following are examples of activities that are not permitted - illegal files, pornography, adult services, escort services, private files, MP3 files, slander / libel, promotion of violence or terrorism, racial / social / political discrimination.
- Dreamscape Design's services may only be used for lawful purposes. Transmission, distribution, or storage of any information, data or material in violation of UK regulation or law is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, material protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, or any other statute. Dreamscape Design reserves the right to remove such illegal material from its servers.
- Customers may not engage in tortuous conduct including, but not limited to, posting of defamatory, scandalous, or private information about a person without their consent, intentionally inflicting emotional distress, or making physical threats against another person via email, news, or any other electronic media/service we provide.
- Customers must safeguard their username and password to prevent unauthorised access to the server.
- We do not guarantee that backups will be made of data stored on our servers. It is the responsibility of the website owner to ensure that important data is backed up at regular intervals.
- Harassment via email, whether through language, frequency, or size of messages, is prohibited.
- Customers may not send email to any person who does not wish to receive it. If a recipient asks to stop receiving email, the Customer must not send that person any further email.
- Customers are explicitly prohibited from sending unsolicited bulk mail messages ("junk mail" or "spam"). This includes, but is not limited to, bulk-mailing of commercial advertising, informational announcements, and political tracts. Such material may only be sent to those who have explicitly requested it.
- Domain name registration is for a minimum of two years. If a customer wishes to terminate this service before two years has expired, no refund will be available and the two year fee must be paid in full.
- Hosting fees are renewable annually. If a customer wishes to cancel the service during this period, they will not be refunded.
- There is a £23.00 charge if a domain name is to be transferred to another ISP in the initial two year period. After this period, there will be no charge for transferring the domain name.
- Dreamscape Design reserves the right to change, or amend these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice. We will however inform any clients who may be affected by these changes.
- Dreamscape Design reserves the right to move your data to a different server with no previous notice.
Customer agrees that it shall defend, indemnify, save and hold Dreamscape Design harmless from any and all demands, liabilities, losses, costs and claims, including reasonable attorney's fees asserted against Dreamscape Design, its agents, its customers, officers and employees, that may arise or result from any service provided or performed or agreed to be performed or any product sold by customer, its agents, employees or assigns. Customer agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Dreamscape Design against liabilities arising out of; (1) any injury to person or property caused by any products sold or otherwise distributed in connection with Dreamscape Design's server; (2) any material supplied by customer infringing or allegedly infringing on the proprietary rights of a third party; (3) copyright infringement and (4) any defective products sold to customer from Dreamscape Design's server.

Dreamscape Design will not be responsible for any damages your business may suffer. Dreamscape Design makes no warranties of any kind, expressed or implied for services we provide. Dreamscape Design does not back up your data/website and whilst every attempt would be made in the unlikely event of any corruption or hardware failure, Dreamscape Design cannot guarantee to be able to replace lost data. Dreamscape Design disclaims any warranty or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. This includes loss of data resulting from delays, nondeliveries, wrong delivery, and any and all service interruptions caused by Dreamscape Design and its employees. Dreamscape Design reserves the right to revise its policies at any time.

Web Design: Surestart Darlaston
We were commissioned to design and develop a state-of-the-art web solution for SureStart Darlaston. The website is content managed, and includes latest news and events via a clickable calendar facility. The system also includes newsletter management and a dynamic site banner which changes according to the season.
The website is fully XHTML and CSS standards compliant and meets the W3C accessibility guidelines, ensuring it is available to the widest possible audience.

We were commissioned to design and develop an accessible web solution for the Scottish Transgender Alliance. The website includes a content management system, latest news and events, a site search facility, and downloadable documents.
We also implemented a number of accessibility features into the site ensuring that it meets the W3C accessibility guidelines and that it is available to the widest possible audience.

Casa Twenty One is a leading provider of Dalia cutlery, providing cutlery sets to clients as far a field as the United States and Spain. We were commissioned to revamp their existing Ecommerce website, in order to provide them with a web presence that would reflect the quality of the products being sold. We implemented a number of new Ecommerce features including a client area and search facility. The site is also coded in accordance with the W3C accessibility guidelines.

Web Design: Majestic Paintings
The Majestic Paintings website is a fully functional E-Commerce system, allowing users to order custom oil paintings based on a photo or picture of their choice. Our job was to create a user-friendly system that would allow the user to upload photos and specify their requirements, including canvas size, number of figures and background style.

Standards Compliance:
To keep in-line with our improved web design services, all websites will now be fully XHTML and CSS standards compliant. What does this mean? Well, it means your site will be coded using the latest standards recognised by the World Wide Web Consortium, improved search engine performance, conforming to the W3C accessibility guidelines, and increased cross-brower performance.
The web design industry is saturated with companies offering design services, but only a handful will design and code it correctly and effectively using the latest guidelines. We believe that if a job is worth doing, it is worth doing properly.
